Week 9 Videos Part B

I again am watching the epicfied version of the Mahabharata. I like how the Kunti is able to summon any god she wants to. I find these old epics to be very funny thinking of people being able to summon gods. If someone was able to give out the ability to summon any god to everyone think of the mayhem that would ensue. I think a less serious story I could write would be a story where someone gets the saying to summon someone then everyone starts to summon the person or god over and over. That would cause some hilarious situations. I also feel bad for Kunti because she has to give up her sone since she isn't married. I am not exactly sure about the history back then, but I would assume having a child out of wedlock and even not being a virgin would be terrible for a woman back then. I am glad we live in a more accepting time for sure!  The pandus curse one is also kind of funny. It seems like there are a few weird things always happening in these stories. First would be the king seems to have no care in the world for people. He was just shooting arrows at anyone he saw. He didn't even care if he hit some random hermits. The second thing I find very funny is the number of curses being thrown around. People are able to curse anyone in a moments notice in these stories. I find that to be very funny.

Week 6 story Grayson and Art Girl Escape

"What a lovely night", Grayson thought. He had just gotten married to his beautiful bride. Art Girl was the perfect woman she could paint better than anyone and she was a model. Grayson was absolutely in love with her and couldn't wait for the honeymoon. Since he had started his new job at Goldman Sachs he was living large. He got the best hotel in the most romantic destination for their retreat. Plus his best friend Sebastian had given them a great deal on the place.
